Projects of unprecedented scale, uniqueness and complexity are currently are under production and will soon see light at the end of the tunnel. Here’s one of them:
Exhibition of 12 UPSIDE DOWN paintings supported by 12 unique kinetic reverse mechanisms.
The idea and implementation of the project belongs to Valerij Satunov. All copyrights and intellectual property are protected and controlled.
Each separate painting from the collection will have its own unique mechanism that will be made of only one particular material (that excludes connectors and axes of rotation). The rotation mechanisms will be made of the following materials: natural wood, crystal and glass, non-ferrous metals, graphite, ceramics, amber, etc.. The most advanced processing technology will be used in the production of the machines.
Painting frames and supporting mechanisms will be fit with unique lighting equipment made specifically for this project. These mechanisms will act as a load puller in conjunction with a stand-alone microcomputer that will begin to rotate the image after some time. Whilst the inversion, mechanical music instruments from the same material that will be built into the supporting mechanism of the painting are planned to play. Each mechanism should weigh around several tons. Thus, a completely unique and interactive exhibition is already being prepared. (A full flip of a painting will take about 5 minutes while viewing all paintings flip will take about 120 minutes.)
In the final production stage of the project, it is planned to launch world tour exhibitions. Sketches and accurate visualisations of these mechanism are all ready to be manufactured. These mechanisms are planned to be represented by the world’s largest companies and corporations. The project is partially classified and all information will be available as the project progresses. When the world tour ends, the collection is planned to be auctioned, and part of the money raised will be donated to charity in support of children battling cancer.

Mechanism’s function description
Currently, prototypes of reduced copies of existing mechanisms from externally similar materials are in development. It is assumed that these reduced mechanism versions will serve as construction kits for self-assembling and collecting.
All objects on this page are only a visualisation of ideas. Only after the prototypes are built and debugged, they will acquire their final looks and production of large versions of mechanical plants will begin. Estimated size of each object: (2.35m x 3.0m x 0.8m)
Preliminary sketches of initial mechanisms
